#CIFP2019
Conference on Indonesian Foreign Policy (CIFP) is the country’s biggest festival of diplomacy and also happens to be the world’s largest foreign policy conference that successfully gathered more than 9,000 enthusiastic participants. Our aim is to bring all the stakeholders together in an intellectually rich, open, and inspirational from all over Indonesia and abroad.
“Cooling Off The Hot Peace: Strategic Opportunities and Economic Remedies for a Distressful World” was chosen as this year’s big theme, because we believe that the re-emergence of geostrategic rivalries, mistrust, disruption, and brinkmanship in today’s world affairs – hence the “hot peace” – by far represent the most serious challenge for world peace.
Through this conference, we aim to push the participants to recognize this serious problems and think hard about the strategic and economic opportunities that could turn this dangerous condition of “hot peace” towards more stable, durable, and cooperative world order.
